Hmm... It's all math. If you work hard but eat more calories than you use, there goes your shape!
I must say I really like the gestures of the different women. No two are doing the same thing. My favorite is the women with the towel/blanket. I love how she is frozen in mid-action. The towel had a great lightness to it.
Milind sir,Your composition makes whole painting a pleasure to eyes.I have seen the previous `PANI BAYA`,but this one is amazing...Sir,I am egerly waiting for your guidence on my blog.

Another paint-off around June? An artist by the name Ujwala would like to participate. His blog is ujwala.wordpress.com. Also Theresa Rankin would like to join in. She follows your blog. Just came back today from a small farming town near Sacramento where there was a large annual paint out. I'll be posting a watercolor I did there.
Hi Milind - beautiful painting, such vibrancy and the colour of the water is terrific. (I don't think I work hard enough - does that mean less painting for some women???)
I am a full time painter
I paint what I see.
It is not the subject but the shapes, tones, color and there relation along with the play of light that crates a sensation.
I paint because I wish to respond and communicate this sensation.
The selection of shapes and tones rendered in realistic style with washes and brushstrokes is my painting. The selection is my vision and creates a body for the sensation felt.
If the viewer responds by saying “wow”, I believe he responds to that “abstract quality”,that”visual sensation” which I felt. This is probably my best reward and fulfillment than any long essay written by a critique

I like the green of the water -- I grew up next to a tank like this in Mangalore!
