Open canvas is what we call our this activity. There was live music going on .Derek Julian improvising on his guitar and we six artists painted six canvases enjoying his music.
The idea is ..I had a very uncertain image of what I wanted to do and as the music started I want to let the music dictate the colors and strokes..on the other hand Derek was improvising looking at the canvas being painted. It wasn't meant to find any parallel between the two mediums but to just get inspired by each other. As for me it was Euphoria defined..

as always, I love the colors and the feelings evoked --And, painting to music sounds really 'cool' and exciting.

Milind - I love these colours! Wonderful composition too.
I have been on both sides of the canvas in this situation, and can appreciate the synergy. A great dynamic painting that sprang from this session Milind!
