So here are the other attempts (may be not finished as yet)from the paint off with David,I have managed to click some stages ,so some of you might find how not to overwork..
Needless to say, the painting's very good.I loved both yours and David's interpretations.A visual treat for me!Inspired by you, very soon I'll be posting my own painting of bikes.
These are great Milind. Painted in your loose, colorful style. I just added two of these to my previous post. I really like your brush strokes. They have a spontaneous look and the paintings you have done do not look over worked and "tired". I'd like to try a watercolor paint off maybe in a few months. Perhaps I can get a few other water colorists here and you get some there. Want to do it?
Great! I'll provide the next image for a watercolor paint off. It's going to be scary competing with you, but I need to sharpen my skills. Anyone on your end that you would like to include?
I am a full time painter
I paint what I see.
It is not the subject but the shapes, tones, color and there relation along with the play of light that crates a sensation.
I paint because I wish to respond and communicate this sensation.
The selection of shapes and tones rendered in realistic style with washes and brushstrokes is my painting. The selection is my vision and creates a body for the sensation felt.
If the viewer responds by saying “wow”, I believe he responds to that “abstract quality”,that”visual sensation” which I felt. This is probably my best reward and fulfillment than any long essay written by a critique

Great Milind, have been waiting for the final bike painting. Checked out David's as well. Also absolutely terrific.
