Rustic Beauty

Rather a quick attempt, not the best face I have painted but i was quiet happy because i managed to leave some under painted green in the face and hopefully have caught the rustic look intended. During the exhibition we put red dot on a painting sold. A friend of mine asked weather the custom came from the same Indian red "bindi" tradition denoting the unavailability.

Good play of colours! I looked forward to see some textural elements.

Very striking! The colors add a lot to this one. And I love the division of space, too.
