Almost a travel back in time.It is going to be more and more "not" possible to see anything like this.
Though I have painted this one in my usual style I have very carefully added lots of details like tiled roof(you can even count them)bricks and little stones on the ground.
Details is a tricky thing..they can damage more than contribute, many a times.
Yet I believe as long as the tonal mass is not disturbed they can add up as texture ind interest..

This is terrific, done with very few colors ,with so many details and still stands out. The figures to look local.
Thanks for posting
A wonderful painting showing how to embellish!!! I love the how you have given such personality to people and buildings in your painting! Thanks for sharing.
Your paintings are so wonderful to look at. I enjoy your work very much. Great details, it's perfect!
Absolutely gorgeous, love that luminosity and the beauty of the traditional houses.
Congratulations on all your work!
This is one of my favorite paintings done by you.The light and shades are amazing! The textured walls and roofs bathed in light, the tones...everything is perfect.Hats off to you!
For quite sometime, I had wanted to ask if these places that you have painted, still exist?I got the answer now!
I love those little bits (shapes) of light in the foreground shadow. It's capturing subtle things like this that separate the men from the boys! Another masterful h20.
This is one of my favorites among your paintings. This has so much details done so tightly and also somehow has the loose charm.
agreed......
It is a pleasure to view this painting. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I agree with your views about such subjects slowly vanishing form our lives. I recently drove from Mumbai to Nashik, and I was very much on the lookout for structures with local rural character, and I could see very, very few of them along the highway.
These are beautiful...I love the wash feel to it!
Wonderful observation and much wonderful skills you have.

Dear Sir
Its a wonderful painting. Appreciate the input of having details that do not disturb the tonal mass.
Great painting. Like the light in this. Thanks for the eye candy
Yes, it's very true what you said about details. They can detract, however you seem be have mastered the art of embellishment!
terrfic concept sir
i can feel the sun shining hard and the need to go inside just looking at his, though here the sun barely filters its light through the clouds
