Almost a travel back in time.It is going to be more and more "not" possible to see anything like this.Though I have painted this one in my usual style I have very carefully added lots of details like tiled roof(you can even count them)bricks and little stones on the ground.
Details is a tricky thing..they can damage more than contribute, many a times.
Yet I believe as long as the tonal mass is not disturbed they can add up as texture ind interest..

I love those little bits (shapes) of light in the foreground shadow. It's capturing subtle things like this that separate the men from the boys! Another masterful h20.

I agree with your views about such subjects slowly vanishing form our lives. I recently drove from Mumbai to Nashik, and I was very much on the lookout for structures with local rural character, and I could see very, very few of them along the highway.

Yes, it's very true what you said about details. They can detract, however you seem be have mastered the art of embellishment!
